Space Time Memory

Three Artists Group Exhibition

CityScape Community Art Space
North Vancouver, BC
November 3 – November 25, 2006

I have a fascination with space that has been formed or altered by our activities, whether private or shared, architectural or landscape. This interest also underlies my work as an artist in the public realm, as well as past experience in architecture. When I travel I photograph spaces that move me – these are often spaces empty of people, their use dormant, altered, reinterpreted, layered, or abandoned. These photographs contemplate the presence of absence – and absent presence.
